Palácio Tangará to Reopen 17 September!

Palácio Tangará, Oetker Collection’s jewel in the Southern Hemisphere, will reopen its doors on Thursday 17 September, just in time for spring! Set within the lush tropical landscape of Burle Marx Park, Palácio Tangará is preparing a celebratory reopening that will combine the strictest safety measures with an exciting line-up of new dining, weekend events and wellness.

Safety First

The hotel has partnered with Albert Einstein Hospital, South America’s leading medical facility, to implement strict sanitation protocols for all guestrooms, social areas, kitchens and back of the house. Telemedicine appointments with the renowned medical staff at Albert Einstein Hospital will be available to guests upon request. All guestrooms will be inspected according to Einstein´s standards, which certify they have been properly prepared, disinfected and ventilated according to a thorough criteria backed by the latest scientific research. When you arrive at Palácio Tangará, you can rest assured that the strictest measures have been taken to ensure your health and safety throughout your stay.

New Dining Experience

In celebration of this momentous comeback, Palácio Tangará will introduce a brand new restaurant, Pateo do Palácio. With menu designed by world-renowned chefs Jean-Georges Vongerichten and Felipe Rodrigues, this new dining experience is the only really outdoor restaurant in São Paulo that is surrounded by nature’s tranquility. Pateo do Palácio is perfectly situated to be a key meeting place where guests and locals can enjoy themselves and each other while maintaining a safe social distance.

From Thursday to Sunday, the smooth notes of live Jazz and Blues will permeate the gorgeous terrace. On weekends, the chefs will host a fabulous parrilla barbecue event, by the pool,  featuring select cuts of beef, fresh seafood and vegetarian dishes to be enjoyed with a fine wine or craft cocktail. A live DJ will add beats in the afternoon and Brazilian jazz will heat up the opened air restaurants at Palácio Tangará.

Reconnecting through Wellness

The past few months have been a challenge for the entire globe. One of the best ways to revive and reconnect with yourself is through fitness and wellness. Palácio Tangará has prepared an excellent range of new experiences to enjoy in total safety. Outdoor massages with the Spa’s skilled therapists will be offered in 2 discrete gazebos. A team of fitness experts will help you get and stay motivated with everything from yoga and ballet fitness classes to personal training sessions, all held either outdoors on the terrace or safely socially distanced in the hotel’s Cristal Ballroom.

Have business in São Paolo? The team at Palácio Tangará looks forward to welcoming you back for a comfortable, safe and soothing visit in your Brazilian hub.
