Peggy Porschen Afternoon Tea Returns to Céleste

After delivering sweet delights to the NHS at the height of the Covid-19 crisis in London, Peggy Porschen and The Lanesborough are back to serve you exquisite afternoon tea at Michelin-starred Céleste.

The Perfect London Summer Outing

In one of London’s most beautiful afternoon tea settings, under the sunlit domed glass roof of Céleste, The Lanesborough’s friendly team welcomes you to celebrate a glamorous teatime with one of the hotel’s former pastry chefs, Peggy Porschen.

Now heading her own famous and beloved London bakery, Peggy Porschen offers an elegant approach to classic finger sandwiches and scones with clotted cream and jam, and also brings her signature glamour-filled sweets with Peggy’s pink pavlova, a lemon & elderflower tartlet and a chocolate heaven cupcake — just to name a few. Then, a cart of Peggy Porschen layered cakes du jourwill arrive at your table for you to choose a slice from the tempting and colourful array. This and the tiered presentation of scrumptious treats are all to be savoured with The Lanesborough’s bespoke afternoon tea blends.

This one-of-a-kind afternoon tea is priced at £53 per person, or £72 per person including a glass of champagne. Advanced booking is recommended.

The Lanesborough, Céleste and Peggy Porschen look forward to welcoming you back for a stylish take on the quintessential British tradition.

  • I enjoyed Dinner at the Lanesborough the spring of 2017 and was in the kitchen watching the chef explain
how the kitchen works. The dinner was incredible. I exchanged recipes with a young staff member.

I do bake and welcome some tips and recipes for the scones or a cake.

    thank you.
