Serves 4

Ingredients

1L water
200g fresh ginger
8 tbsp fresh lemon juice
8 tsp raw honey

 

Method

Bring water to boil in a pot.
Remove from heat and add the ginger to infuse for 10 minutes. (For a strong flavour, allow to infuse overnight).
Pour tea into 4 mugs. Add 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice and 2 tsp honey to each and stir.

 

Detox Infusion

Drink on an empty stomach before breakfast for a natural and gentle morning detox.

Ingredients

2L filtered water
1 cucumber, peeled and sliced
1-2 lemons, sliced
5cm ginger, peeled and sliced
10-15 mint leaves

 

Method

Add all ingredients to a large carafe. Allow to infuse overnight and enjoy in the morning and throughout the day for a refreshing detox drink.

 

Chia Seed and Lemon Refresher

Serves 1

Ingredients

1 tsp chia seeds
1 + 1/2 glass water
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tsp raw honey

 

Method

Place chia seeds in the half glass of water for 1 hour. They will soften and form a gel consistency.
Mix the lemon juice into a separate full glass of water.
Add chia seed mixture to lemon water.
Add honey and stir. (You can use a blender to combine the honey).
