Mathis Charpentier, Epicure’s very own Service Apprentice, was awarded the title of Meilleur Apprenti de France, or France’s Best Apprentice, at the MAF Table and Service Arts Awards on November 13th, 2019.
Charpentier, who is a student at the Ferrandi Paris School of Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management, is one of four contestants in all of France to receive the distinguished honour in 2019. He passed each of the nine service tests in the competition with mastery and elegance.
The MAF Awards occur once a year, offering young apprentices in various industries the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities for a most prestigious recognition. The title of France’s Best Apprentice is only awarded to the top talent in each domain.
