Nobody is stealing Christmas at Jumby Bay Island, but the beachside Bar & Lounge does serve a tasty tipple called the Grinch Martini. Full of festive season flavours of Irish cream, peppermint and nutmeg, this delicious green cocktail is a refreshing treat to enjoy in a Caribbean paradise that the Grinch will never reach.
Here’s how it’s made…
Ingredients
4 oz. Baileys Irish Cream
½ oz. plus ½ oz. Peppermint Schnapps
Dash of nutmeg
Chilled Martini glass – brown sugar rim optional
Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Method
Combine Baileys Irish Cream, ½ oz. Peppermint Schnapps and nutmeg in a cocktail shaker and shake with ice. Pour the other ½ oz. into the bottom of a martini glass. Float the chilled mixture over peppermint Schnapps and garnish with the fresh mint.
