There are few things more magical than waking up on Christmas morning in the company of family – especially with little ones in tow eager to unwrap their gifts, and a personal butler popping by at any given moment with surprises for the whole family… Christmas at The Lanesborough is all about creating special memories, from stockings bursting at the seams with gifts delivered at midnight, to a chauffeur-driven classic car ride to a nearby traditional carol service. On Christmas Eve, guests will enjoy mulled wine and hot chocolate and marshmallows, help wrapping last-minute gifts from their personal butler, and a chauffeur-driven car transfer to St. Paul’s Church for an evening service.. This can then be followed by mini festive cocktail making for the whole family in the Withdrawing Room and Christmas movies, complimentary popcorn and soft drinks for children.
On the big day, those in residence will wake up to personalised stockings for children, champagne delivered by the butler, breakfast in bed, a visit from Father Christmas in the Withdrawing Room and a five-course Christmas feast in Celeste. The Queen’s Speech will of course be aired in the St George’s Room at 15:00. Boxing Day will be made up of a trip to Harvey Nichols for the hotel’s exclusive shopping experience, a gingerbread- making class for children, a rejuvenating facial or massage in The Lanesborough Club & Spa and Boxing Day Afternoon Tea.
(Three-night ‘Christmas in Residence’ package starts from £3,705 in a Superior Rooms and from £5,460 in a Junior Suite, based on two people sharing and including VAT; excluding service charge).
