It’s always exciting when a new bistro pops up in Paris. Our focus this week is on Sausalito in the 9th arrondissement. This casual new haunt is manned by Antoine and Martin, who offer a tasty menu of classic flavours from surf and turf, or better yet, terre et mer. For lunch, a prix fixe starter, main and dessert is the perfect entry point to the magic of Sausalito. A delicious tomato salad to set the tone followed by the pork loin with carrots and garlic confit, and rounded out by a chocolate hazelnut mousse showcases the brothers’ deep commitment to quality ingredients and astute cooking. The wine list includes a solid representation of respected wineries, and the ambiance shifts into a wine bar in the evening. If you find yourself in the 9th, find a table at Sausalito.
