Bambou brings an authentic Thai taste to Paris. Located inside an old fabric workshop in the 2ndarrondissement, the restaurant includes a large, luminous and colonial inspired dining room, an inviting garden-terrace, a cosy lounge and—downstairs—a dimly lit fumoir. The impeccably detailed décor varies throughout the different spaces, presenting a sophisticated backdrop for the unwaveringly classic Thai cuisine by Antonin Bonnet. Signature dishes at Bambou include a Pad Thai that reaches near perfection, amazingly aromatic curries and a delightful coconut milk rice dessert. The bottle list includes some wonderful pairings, and groups are encouraged to share a selection of dishes to enjoy with the wine. In a city where gastronomy reigns, we think Bambou has carved out a comfortable niche when it comes to the exotic flavours of Thai food.
