Grand Café Tortoni is a concept shop and café in the Marais neighbourhood of Paris. Taking over an historic space that was run by the famous ice cream maker, Tortoni, in the 19thcentury, the stunning shop is outfitted like an old-fashioned pharmacy with gorgeous floor-to-ceiling wood panelling. As you walk in, on your right there is a nostalgic belle époque style café bar and to your left, an Officine Universelle Buly cosmetics counter. In the back, you’ll find the Miyoko dried flower boutique and a Nani Koré kiosk where you can order yummy Japanese onigri rice pastries. Grand Café Tortoni is an unconventional mélange of 19thcentury Paris and contemporary Japan. If you find yourself in the Marais, stop in for a coffee or onigri and discover the boutique’s multitude of charms.
