Breakfast is still the most important meal of the day, but if you’re pressed for time in the morning, it can be the first thing you sacrifice from your busy schedule. Thankfully, Villa Stéphanie’s clean eating expert, Mohammad Joshani, brings us hope in the form of a delicious, fresh and—most importantly—fast breakfast detox smoothie. This one is packed with vitamins and fibre to give you the clean energy boost you need for a productive and fulfilling day.
Here’s how it’s made…
2 pears– peeled, cored and roughly chopped
2 celery sticks
60g spinach leaves (baby or regular)
1 cucumber– peeled and seeded
Juice of 1 lemon
Handful of mint leaves
1 tbsp. raw honey
2 handfuls of ice cubes
Place ingredients together in a blender and blend on medium speed until smooth. Pour into a glass for enjoyment at home, or a reusable bottle for drinking on your way to work.
