Named Saline because of a nearby salt pond, this long stretch of beach on St Barths’ Southside is where you come to commune with the pure, untarnished beauty of the island shore. The beach is lined with powdery white sand and is bordered by cliffs on either side. It is a popular location for visitors, but because of its breadth, it never feels overcrowded. Nude bathing is common here, so be forewarned. Also, there are no facilities, restaurants or vendors, which is a major part of what makes it such an attractive destination. Still, you’ll want to arrive prepared with drinks and snacks. Why not let the Eden Rock team put together a delicious picnic to take along with you on your day getting back to nature at Saline Beach?
