Call us biased, but we think Le Bristol Paris is the best place in the world to enjoy a wine dinner. Between our three-Michelin-star chef, Eric Frechon, and our Wine Spectator Grand Award for best wine list, something we do seems to be working in the world of food and wine. So, our Head Sommelier, Bernard Neveu, has organised an exclusive series of monthly Wine Mondays for oenophiles and foodies to enjoy selected vintages from France’s most talented winemakers alongside a four-course gastronomic dinner by Chef Eric Frechon.
“These evenings are lovely moments of pleasure and discussion. We select the wines we love, produced by talented professionals whose work we admire. It is an even greater pleasure to enjoy these favourites with dishes composed by another passionate craftsman, Chef Eric Frechon. This is a unique opportunity to discover a terroir, a domain and a wine presented by those who know it best, because they made it.”
Neveu and his team of ten sommeliers have hosted wine Mondays since October 2018, each date recognising a different region and winery– from the Loire Valley to Alsace, the Bordeaux estates and the slopes of Champagne. A representative from the winery is in attendance each Monday to present the tastings and discuss the techniques that make their wines stand out.
The final two dates in the Wine Mondays series are coming up this spring. The 13thof May will showcase biodynamic wines from Domaine de la Vougerai in Burgundy, and the 10thof June will cast the spotlight on the limited production out of Domaine du Clos des Fées in Roussillon.
Don’t miss this final chance to discover some of France’s top wines and most exquisite food in an intimate and convivial setting with Wine Mondays at Le Bristol Paris. Learn more and book here.
