Sometimes the greatest holiday pleasures come from the local character you discover in speciality shops. In Antibes, Le Vélo de Léon is one of those shops.
Laurent Van Hoegaerden, General Manager at l’Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, recommends a visit to this unique boutique.
“This original shop sprang from the owners’ love affair with paper, leading them to source pencils and other small finds from around Europe and as far afield as Japan. Calling this a stationery shop doesn’t do it justice. I prefer to describe it as a collection of curiosities in the heart of Old Antibes.”
Le Vélo de Léon is located in the narrow pedestrian alleyway, Rue James Close – well worth a visit for its local concept shops. If you like bringing home gifts from your holiday adventures, you’re sure to find something special here.
