Cité de l’Architecture, the sprawling institute and museum just in front of Trocadero, is hiding Paris’s latest hotspot.Opened in summer 2018, Girafe  is where the who’s who of Paris are clambering for a table. Created by Gilles Malafosse and Laurent de Gourcuff, the pair responsible for the city’s most elegant addresses (Loulou, Monsieur Bleu), and their latest is no exception.

Inside, the 1930s-inspired Art Deco is a real show-stopper – by famed architect, Jospeh Dirand.

On the table, the confident seafood menu is equally as chic. Raw fish lovers will be in their element, with everything from ceviche to sashimi and carpaccio, on the menu. Other decadent options include roasted, grilled or salt baked fish, served whole for sharing.

Outside, thanks to its prime location, the Girafe terrace offers unrivaled views of the Eiffel Tower.
