Caipirinha is the national drink of Brazil. It is the most popular cocktail in the South American country and it is super easy to make. Valter Kwast, supervisor of Burle Bar, told us how to make a perfect caipirinha to enjoy the summer season in Brazil – or even to heat up the cold weather in the north hemisphere.
- Your 3 favorite types of limes/lemons
- 2,5cl of simple syrup or one tablespoon of plain sugar
- 7,5cl of Cachaça
Choose your 3 favorite types of limes/lemons. Place 3 pieces of each lime into a short glass. Add 2,5cl of simple syrup or one tablespoon of plain sugar. Gently muddle the limes and the sugar. Complete the glass with ice to the top. Add 7,5cl of Cachaça over it. Gently stir the cocktail – now enjoy it!
